Shock Test System - Model 122
The Lansmont Model 122 Shock Test System is available in both standard-duty and heavy-weight configurations. Both versions can accommodate test items with specimen dimensions up to 48 inches x 48 inches (122 cm x 122 cm). The standard-duty version can handle a maximum payload of 750 lbs. (340 kg) and the heavy-weight version more than triples the maximum payload to 2,500 lbs. (1134 kg).
The Model 122 utilizes a one-piece cast aluminum shock table that is precisely guided by two solid steel, chrome-plated guide rods. The guide rods are rigidly attached to a massive steel base that is isolated from the floor to help attenuate any shock energy that would otherwise be transmitted to the surrounding building .
This system can perform a wide variety of shock tests, in either configuration, to a maximum acceleration of 500 g. Damage Boundary Programmers allow the operator to generate both half-sine and trapezoidal waveforms. This system is outfitted with Lansmont’s TouchTest™ Shock Control System for ease of operation.
