Shock Test System - Model 65/81

The Lansmont Model 65/81 is our most popular medium format shock test system. This system has the ability to test items weighing up to 500 lbs. (227 kg) with specimen dimensions up to 25.6 inches by 31.9 inches (65 cm x 81 cm).

The Model 65/81 utilizes a one-piece cast aluminum shock table that is precisely guided by two solid steel, chrome-plated guide rods. The guide rods are rigidly attached to a massive steel base that is isolated from the floor to help attenuate any shock energy that would otherwise be transmitted to the surrounding building .

The Model 65/81 is a workhorse that can perform a wide variety of tests to a maximum acceleration of 600 g. The Damage Boundary Programmer allows the operator to generate both half-sine and trapezoidal waveforms. This system is outfitted with Lansmont’s TouchTest™ Shock Control System for ease of operation.
