Shock Test Systems
Mechanical Shock Test Systems
Shock tests are used to accurately measure the fragility of products and to evaluate how they respond when subjected to a particular shock input. Shock test data is key information necessary to ensure any product is capable of withstanding its intended "real world" use. Whether you wish to perform a complete Damage Boundary Product Fragility Assessment, an industry / mil standard shock pulse, or a company-specific test specification, Lansmont builds state-of-the-art shock test systems with the performance to meet your application.
Lansmont manufactures a wide variety of pre-configured shock test systems (30+ models) as well as custom systems built to solve specific or unique applications.

Our Standard Series shock test systems are capable of performing half sine, trapezoidal and
sawtooth waveforms with impact velocities up to 288 in/sec. Table sizes range from 15cm x 15cm
up to 152cm x 152cm with payloads up to 2500 lbs. This series includes our longest standing designs
that have been in use for decades at installations across the globe.
Lansmont's Performance Series shock test systems were designed to provide increased capabilities above the standard shock testing line. Systems are available in a wide range of table sizes from 15cm square all the way up to 160cm square. Additional features include optional acceleration systems, suspended seismic reaction masses and heavier load frames. When test specifications require more performance, the new Performance Series shock machines provide the answer.
The High Speed series of shock test systems were designed specifically for performance. With a maximum velocity change of 120 ft/sec and bare table accelerations up to 10,000 g's, there are few specifications the High Speed series can't meet. These machines utilize highly efficient table acceleration systems, suspended seismic reaction masses, and over-sized load frame components for greater strength. High Speed systems are also completely enclosed with an integrated steel cage for safety.
The eXtreme High Speed Series takes mechanical shock testing performance to the ultimate level. Built on super strong load frames, these systems deliver Velocity Changes in excess of 150 Ft/sec and bare table accelerations to 10,000 g's. The eXtreme series are specifically tuned for ultra high performance with enhancements to the acceleration, braking, and seismic suspension components to allow routine operation at eXtreme performance limits. These systems were developed to achieve the most demanding military, aerospace, and electronics specifications and are built for years of service at these eXtreme levels.
