Introducing the new Universal Shock System (USS) from Lansmont, the first shock test system to allow
shock testing in multiple axes without special fixturing or continual re-mounting of your test specimen! Lansmont's engineers have developed a unique, industry-first pivoting table system that allows tests to be conducted in the X axis, and then rotated 90° to test in the Y axis. The USS is a high-performance shock test system incorporating a pneumatically suspended seismic reaction mass, solid Aluminum shock carriage, and a unique pneumatic braking system that operates on plant air…no high pressure Nitrogen required! The USS incorporates Lansmont's TouchTest II shock controls for extremely precise, reliable control of the machine. The USS is capable of shock pulse durations of less than 1.0 Msec and velocity changes in excess of 288 in/sec. It was designed specifically for testing electronics; PCB's, LCD screens, etc. The USS has a standard table size of 51 Cm x 61 Cm.
