Lansmont presents AmeriStar Best of Show Award.

Lansmont recently attended, and awarded the 2006 AmeriStar Best in Show, to Pat Conley (and team) of SCA Consumer Packaging for their design of the “Bic Mark-It Reusable Bi-Fold Clamshell” package. The Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) held the 2006 AmeriStar Awards Banquet on May 16th at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosement, Illinois during the Packaging Summit. Honors are presented to the best packaging of the year in 15 categories including beverage, household products, electronics, retail, industrial/commercial health and beauty, and medical device. This year 46 packages were chosen for honors. Packages are judged according to several criteria ranging from product display ability to point of purchase accessibility.

Eric Joneson, VP of Lansmont Corporation Business Development and Marketing, presented the Best in Show award to Pat Conley and the SCA project engineering team. Their design of the Bic Mark-It™ Bi-fold Clamshell brings originality to the permanent marker segment with its reusable storage case.
