Lansmont provides IAPRI Most Promising Research Award!

Lansmont participated in the International Association of Packaging Research Institutes’ (IAPRI) September 2007 Symposium, which was held in Windsor, UK. Lansmont was proud to present the award to Greg Curtzwiler, a graduate student from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, California. Greg, a Biochemistry major, presented on carbon nanotube research.

Carbon nanotubes are molecular-scale tubes of graphitic carbon with outstanding properties. They are among the stiffest and strongest fibres known, and have a promising future in packaging applications. A nice surprise for Greg's mother, who was lucky enough to have joined him on his trip to Windsor. Congratulations to Greg for his research and presentation efforts, as well as being voted by IAPRI’s review panel as the recipient of the Most Promising Research award!
