Testing Services Joins Pira International Ltd.

Lansmont’s Testing Services Group has joined forces with Ciba Expert Services, becoming part of Pira International Ltd. This combination has been under discussion for some time and became official late last week. 

Since its founding in 1971 Lansmont has historically maintained laboratory facilities for demonstration, development and training purposes and will continue to do so. The Testing Services Group was first organized as a distinct group and profit center in 1994 and has since grown to its present three locations (Sunnyvale, Lansing and Huntington Beach). During these past 13 years Lansmont’s Testing Services Group has been an “internal customer” for Lansmont equipment and instruments and has earned a reputation as an industry leader in dynamic testing for products and packages. 

With its acquisition of the Testing Services Group and the three fully equipped Lansmont laboratories, Ciba Expert Services and Pira International are welcomed into the Lansmont customer family. We look forward to continuing to provide the Testing Services Group, Pira International and Ciba Expert Services with the best technology in equipment, instruments and customer support for product and package testing. 

All the laboratory facilities will remain under the direct management control of their current employees. Your work with the Testing Services Group will continue uninterrupted and your professional contacts for Testing Services should remain unchanged.
