April 2008

We're four months into 2008 and we've already got much to share with you.  Lansmont technologies and leadership continue to expand throughout industry and this April issue should provide some quite interesting insight into our areas of impact.

From installing the first packaging laboratory on the continent of Africa, to helping assure the Navy's successful take down of an errant spy satellite, we've been one busy company.  During the past quarter Lansmont also proudly delivered a high performance shock test system to the United States Army.  This system will be used to help study the effects of shock experienced by soldiers traveling in vehicles.  The valuable knowledge gained from this test machine will help the Army design systems that will attenuate these high amplitude pulses, providing better protection for our soldiers.

Lansmont personnel accepted leadership positions in both the International Safe Transit Association (ISTA), as well as the National Institute of Packaging and Handling Logistics Engineers (NIPHLE).

There's more so read, learn, and share any thoughts or questions you may have.

Sincerely,

Eric Joneson
