The HS15/30 series is purpose-built for testing smaller items, combining high-performance shock capabilities with a compact footprint. At its core is a suspended seismic reaction mass with an integrated impact surface, isolated from the floor to minimise the transmission of shock energy into the surrounding building.
These systems are designed to test specimens up to 250 lbs (113 kg) with maximum dimensions of 11.8 in. x 16.0 in (30 cm x 40.6 cm). They deliver up to 120 ft/sec (36.6 m/sec) velocity change, peak accelerations of 6,000 g, and pulse durations as short as 0.2 msec.
Every HS15/30 system comes equipped with Lansmont’s TouchTest Shock (TTS) Controller for safe, intuitive operation. For greater flexibility, optional programmers are available to generate half-sine, trapezoidal, and terminal peak sawtooth shock pulses.
